AI Platform Engineer

About the Role and Company

Key Responsibilities

• Support the rollout and advancement of the AIDA AI Platform on infrastructure-as-a-service using Red Hat OpenShift or similar container platforms.
• Integrate vital platform elements including API Gateway, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, agent orchestration, and observability tools.
• Assist in deploying and managing OpenShift clusters (both CPU and GPU), covering operators, network configurations, and security measures.
• Automate provisioning and operational workflows via Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and standardized deployment methods.
• Manage integration of platform functionalities with enterprise infrastructure such as networking, storage systems, load balancing, and backups.
• Implement platform security controls aligned with enterprise policies, covering identity and access management (IAM/AD), security information and event management (SIEM), next-generation firewalls (NGFW), and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
• Provide support for AI/ML workloads including generative AI, large language model (LLM) serving, RAG pipelines, and agentic frameworks.
• Contribute to platform monitoring, logging, tuning performance, and planning for capacity requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in platform engineering, cloud-native infrastructure, or AI/data platform development.
• Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes or OpenShift technologies, including operator management, networking, and security configuration.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices incorporating CI/CD processes.
• Basic knowledge of cloud and IaaS networking and security fundamentals.
• Exposure to AI and ML platform components such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities coupled with an eagerness to learn proactively.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications related to Red Hat, Kubernetes, or OpenShift platforms.
