Role Overview

The AI Agent Engineer will focus on developing advanced AI agent systems featuring conversational AI and AI-powered trading capabilities. Key responsibilities involve creating a conversational agent platform integrated with robust functionalities such as tool invocation, memory management, orchestration, and more. The objective is to leverage large language model technologies into reliable, evolving product features tailored to practical business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a scalable, enterprise-level conversational agent platform facilitating business-centric scenarios including AI search, token insight dialogue, trading assistant Q&A, and generation of trading strategies.
• Implement sophisticated multi-turn conversational features comprising contextual memory, tool and function calling, orchestration, clarification inquiries, follow-up questions, and fallback response mechanisms to ensure a seamless and coherent user conversation experience.
• Optimize pipelines for applying large-scale language models, involving prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation methods, tool invocation, and workflow orchestration.
• Collaborate effectively with teams spanning product management, algorithms, data analytics, and trading domains to deploy and iteratively refine conversational AI capabilities aligned with real-world business requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality monitoring and evaluation frameworks within production setups, targeting enhancements in metrics such as first-resolution rate, overall conversation completion, response times, and user satisfaction rates.
• Guarantee system reliability, security, and regulatory compliance while continuously improving performance, availability, and observability under intensive concurrent user loads.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• At least two years of professional experience in backend software development, demonstrating proficiency in Java or Python and familiarity with microservices-based architectures.
• Practical deployment experience with large-scale model or AI applications, possessing in-depth knowledge of prompt engineering techniques, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector similarity search, and function calling mechanisms.
• Strong foundational skills in designing complex systems, including expertise in caching strategies, message queuing systems, database management, and service governance.
• Genuine enthusiasm and understanding of digital asset trading, market structures, on-chain data analytics, and tokenomics, with readiness to thoroughly explore trader priorities and behaviors.
• Competency in data-driven problem-solving and system diagnostics, leveraging logs and metrics to drive ongoing enhancements.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, coupled with a results-driven approach and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Additional advantages include prior work in AI search technologies, financial information retrieval, token/project research products, trading platforms, market analytics, quantitative tools, or strategy development environments, as well as experience with Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and vector databases.
