Role Overview

In response to the transformative impact of AI on engineering workflows, Binance seeks Full Stack Engineers to act as foundational "seeds" within product teams. These engineers will spearhead the establishment of an autonomous, AI-enhanced, full lifecycle development approach, contributing across frontend and backend domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development of product functionalities, encompassing both frontend and backend components.
• Seamlessly incorporate leading AI programming tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude Code into daily development to optimize productivity.
• Effectively translate product specifications into functional implementations with smooth integration between frontend and backend.
• Serve as a full stack advocate within teams by promoting best practices, mentoring colleagues, and facilitating the expansion of AI-augmented development methodologies throughout the organization.
• Identify and address cross-team collaboration bottlenecks, recommending enhancements in product design and engineering workflows.
• Engage comprehensively throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and design phases through to deployment and iterative improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or an AI-related discipline.
• Between 1 and 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong programming background in at least one backend language, specifically Java or Golang.
• Proficiency with Node.js and React frameworks.
• Experience managing end-to-end production projects rather than solely personal or academic projects.
• Knowledge of database architecture, data modeling, and fundamental backend concepts.
• Expertise in utilizing mainstream AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalents).
• Capability to articulate clear conditions and constraints for AI tools, coupled with the skills to assess and refine AI-generated code.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach; initiates tasks independently without waiting for direction.
• Possesses a product-oriented and operationally minded perspective to convert abstract ideas into precise specifications.
• Observant and attentive to other teams’ workflows, actively proposing improvements.
• Effective logical reasoning and communication abilities with a passion for embracing new technologies.
• Frontend-focused candidates should demonstrate:
  • Advanced React engineering knowledge with sound judgment in component structuring, reuse boundaries, and state management techniques.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development infrastructure including build systems, TypeScript typing, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of rendering tactics and performance optimization including pipeline critical path, render timing constraints, and performance monitoring analytics.
• Backend-focused candidates should demonstrate:
  • Proficiency in high-concurrency programming, encompassing threading models, locks, and asynchronous programming paradigms.
  • Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, understanding asynchronous decoupling and eventual consistency.
  • Understanding of distributed systems basics including service discovery, circuit breakers, rate limiting, and load balancing.
