We are searching for a skilled Agribusiness Manager to bolster our Country Banking team by managing and expanding a portfolio centered on rural and agribusiness clients, leveraging your relationship-building and business development expertise.
Role Details
As an Agribusiness Manager, you will collaborate with leading farming and agribusiness customers across New Zealand, enabling their growth through customized financial solutions and trusted consultancy. Bringing together your passion for the agricultural sector, commercial acumen, and relationship management skills, you will cultivate a prosperous portfolio delivering significant client outcomes. Supported by experts in Credit, Operations, RaboResearch, and product teams, you will devise innovative solutions, nurture client connections, and contribute to mutual long-term success. This position is based in Hamilton and involves regular travel throughout the Morrinsville region.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in rural agribusiness banking or business/corporate banking focusing on agriculture.
- Thorough understanding of the rural industry and specialized financial products tailored to agribusiness.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Integrity-driven with strong dedication to client service.
- A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, accounting, or agriculture is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as part of a team.
Day-to-day responsibilities include working with deal teams to identify capital structures, ensuring meticulous credit application processes, and demonstrating leadership and mentorship.
