Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and innovative individual to join as an Activity Coordinator within the multidisciplinary mental health rehabilitation team. This fulfilling position involves engaging directly with patients to develop and implement a diverse range of social, recreational, and therapeutic activities aimed at promoting recovery, wellbeing, independence, and an enhanced quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

The Activity Coordinator will collaborate closely with nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to design, organise, and conduct both individual and group activities customized to patients' preferences, capabilities, and recovery objectives. This role focuses on fostering positive engagement opportunities that encourage participation, support physical health, enhance social inclusion, improve emotional wellbeing, and celebrate personal achievements.

Additional Information & Terms

Applicants must be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme due to the nature of duties involved. Those requiring sponsorship to work in the UK should consult the eligibility requirements for Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa categories. Sponsorship, if offered, is conditional on meeting salary thresholds and other criteria and is determined following interview and pre-employment checks. Candidates are urged to provide genuine, personal responses in their applications as the use of AI or third-party tools to generate or alter responses is strongly discouraged and may lead to withdrawal from consideration.

Communication will primarily occur via email—applicants should regularly monitor their inboxes, including junk folders, and their job application portals for updates.
