About the Role
Join Data#3, an acclaimed Employer of Choice and an ASX200-listed IT services leader, as an Account Executive in Canberra. You will become part of a supportive, innovative software solutions team emphasizing excellence, honesty, agility, respect, and teamwork. This position offers a chance to significantly influence how major strategic customers leverage technology to meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic account plans prioritizing growth and new customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of client organizations, including operational teams and C-suite executives.
- Identify and advance new business opportunities spanning Data#3’s extensive solution offerings.
- Manage and lead complex tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with vendors, solution owners, and internal teams to explore software-driven opportunities.
- Oversee commercial and contractual engagements with key clients.
- Ensure precise sales forecasting, disciplined pricing, and healthy profit margins.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in complex B2B technology sales environments.
- Proven ability to expand existing accounts and secure new business.
- Effective at engaging and influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen, including understanding financial value and returns on investment.
- Adept at navigating complex deals and achieving consensus among stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship management skills with customers, partners, and vendors.
- Strategic, inquisitive, and collaborative mindset with a strong team orientation and dedication to delivering authentic customer value.
