Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management by ordering, replenishing merchandise, and conducting systematic stock counts to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Track sales transactions and restock merchandise accordingly to sustain availability.
- Examine incoming deliveries for damages or inconsistencies; report findings to the accounting department for reimbursement and documentation.
- Maintain detailed records including receipts, stock withdrawals, and related documentation from the stock area.
- Handle stock-related tasks such as packing, returning items, pricing, and labeling supplies.
- Ensure thorough documentation to uphold accurate stock levels and effective inventory oversight.
- Keep all store reports updated regularly, utilizing manual methods and Excel spreadsheets.
- Compile monthly stock reports by physically verifying item balances.
- Manage minimum stock thresholds for all consumable items to prevent shortages.
