Role Overview
The Site Yardman will contribute significantly to the efficient operation of the site yard and laydown areas by providing hands-on support to the project teams. This position is based at the Fleet Headquarters handling all fleet servicing for infrastructure projects in Western Australia.
Work Hours and Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Refueling mobile plant machinery, vehicles, and equipment diligently following site protocols
- Managing all refueling procedures in line with established safety policies
- Receiving and directing deliveries accurately to designated locations
- Loading and unloading various materials, equipment, and incoming deliveries
- Moving and arranging materials and equipment within the yard space
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage and yard areas
- Assisting in the movement and placement of plant and heavy equipment as needed
- Checking, organizing, and maintaining stock and material inventories
- Supporting the Fleet team with required materials and equipment
- Keeping work, access, and yard areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Performing general site and yard related duties as required
- Promptly reporting damaged equipment, stock discrepancies, or potential hazards to supervisors
- Complying strictly with all safety, environmental, and project procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience as a Yardman, Yard Hand, Site Support, or related role
- Familiarity working in proximity to mobile plant and heavy machinery
- Experience performing refueling on various plant equipment
- Strong comprehension of site safety and compliance standards
- Good organizational and housekeeping capabilities
- Physical ability to work outdoors and undertake manual labor tasks
- Effective collaboration skills for working within site teams
- Dependable and proactive attitude towards assigned duties
Additional Qualifications
Possession of relevant licences such as forklift certification, HR licence, or other plant and equipment tickets is highly favorable.
