Yard & Drive Thru Team Member

Role Overview

Join our team working in the Yard and Drive Thru department, where you will engage with customers directly, manage loading and unloading of goods onto vehicles and trucks, and support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and excellent service to customers within the timber yard and Drive Thru area.
• Load products securely onto customer vehicles.
• Process customer orders and handle transaction procedures efficiently.
• Pick orders for delivery as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through monitoring and cycle counts.
• Support warehouse activities to ensure smooth and effective operations.
• Operate forklifts responsibly and safely within the yard.

Working Hours

This is a permanent, full-time position offering 40 hours per week. Standard working days are Monday through Friday, plus every alternate Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a full, clean class 1 driver’s license is mandatory; forklift license or relevant experience is preferable.
• Background in trade, product knowledge, or warehousing experience is advantageous.
• Physically fit, with strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are vital.
• Proficiency with computers and numeracy skills are required to support daily operations.
