Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean equipment using pressure washers, vacuums, and cleaning chemicals
• Keep the equipment yard and wash bay areas tidy and well-organized
• Support drivers during loading and unloading tasks
• Operate forklifts and various construction machinery
• Inspect equipment upon return, report any damage, and complete service tags accordingly
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines
• Assist with fueling, tire storage, and relocating equipment as needed
• Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors to facilitate workflow

Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class G/5 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driving record (no more than 3 demerit points); must provide updated abstract upon request
• Capable of standing for extended durations and lifting approximately 50 lbs
• Forklift license or practical experience operating forklifts or related construction equipment is advantageous
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors across all seasons
• Availability to work overtime when necessary
• Mechanical aptitude or prior experience handling equipment is beneficial
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Adaptable and able to perform well in fast-paced environments
• Proactive, customer-focused, and a cooperative team member
• Eager to learn about construction equipment and the rental industry
• Comfortable with technology, such as digital inspection forms and inventory management software

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
