Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform equipment washing, drying, and detailing using pressure washers, vacuums, and cleaning chemicals
- Keep the equipment yard and wash bay areas clean and orderly
- Assist drivers during equipment loading and unloading
- Operate forklifts and other construction machinery as required
- Inspect returned equipment for damages, documenting and reporting issues with service tags
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations
- Support tasks such as fueling, tire storage, and relocating equipment when necessary
- Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- Valid Class G/5 driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record (maximum of three demerit points) and ability to provide a recent driver’s abstract upon request
- Physical capability to stand for extended durations and lift roughly 50 lbs
- Forklift operating license or relevant experience with forklifts/construction equipment is advantageous
- Comfort working outdoors in all seasons
- Willingness and availability to perform overtime work as needed
- Mechanical aptitude or prior experience handling equipment is a plus
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Proactive attitude, customer service orientation, and effective teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn about construction equipment and the rental sector
- Comfortable using technology and computers for tasks like inspections and inventory management

Compensation
