Job description
Role Overview
As a Workplace Ambassador at JLL, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience within your designated portfolio by driving a customer-first approach and delivering exceptional workplace services. You will develop intimate knowledge of the workplace environment and act as the primary point of contact for daily office needs, simultaneously supporting client teams and nurturing relationships with all business occupants.
Key Duties
- Take ownership of assigned floor(s), ensuring upkeep of amenities such as water dispensers and maintaining cleanliness by addressing issues promptly.
- Engage personally with occupants by learning their names, roles, and community affiliations, welcoming newcomers and assisting their integration.
- Operate as a mobile team member without a fixed desk, continuously present on floors and utilizing a tablet for communication and issue logging.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance by communicating with facilities teams, overseeing quality completion of routine and ad-hoc tasks.
- Ensure service providers meet and exceed contractual standards through vigilant performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with dining teams and facilities for event logistics and vendor scheduling while managing client expectations effectively.
- Conduct ongoing floor inspections to verify cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
- Report discrepancies and behavioral alignment issues to management and contribute feedback to support continuous improvements.
- Foster proactive client relationships to guarantee service excellence and achievement of key performance indicators.
- Perform data analysis and prepare reports aligned with service delivery and account management needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years’ experience in customer-facing roles such as Hospitality, Event Management, or Serviced Office operations.
- Excellent command of English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities along with administrative proficiency.
- A customer-centric attitude demonstrated through proactive relationship building.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
- Effective teamwork skills and the ability to engage respectfully with colleagues and clients at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business, or related disciplines.
- Innate aptitude for hospitality communication and client engagement.
- Adaptability in dynamic work environments and versatility to meet evolving client demands.
- Track record of initiating and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiencies.
- Experience leveraging workplace technologies and digital tools.
- Knowledge of workplace standards and capability to advise on space utilization strategies.
- Involvement in user experience programs or technology system rollouts is advantageous.
