Role Overview

WSP is seeking a seasoned Work Winning Project Manager with expertise in aviation, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is pivotal in securing new business within the aviation sector, overseeing the end-to-end work-winning process from early opportunity identification to successful commercial closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of aviation sector prospects including Expressions of Interest (EOI), prequalification, tender submissions, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
  • Develop and execute bid strategies aligned with sector goals, client needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate technical, financial, and strategic contributions from cross-functional teams to produce high-quality, competitive proposals.
  • Lead proposal planning, scheduling, governance reviews, and ensure all submissions are timely and compliant.
  • Facilitate workshops, strategy sessions, and reviews with senior stakeholders to enhance bid quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all bid-related communications and activities.
  • Collaborate with finance and leadership on commercial modeling, pricing tactics, and risk assessments for bids.
  • Ensure proposals adhere to client specifications, internal quality standards, and governance requirements, emphasizing clarity and consistency in documentation.
  • Maintain and monitor the aviation opportunity pipeline, tracking bid statuses, results, and key performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates, dashboards, and insightful reports to Aviation Sector Leadership.
  • Support continuous improvements by conducting post-bid analyses and lessons learned sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in work winning, bid management, or business development within aviation or infrastructure sectors.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multidisciplinary bids from EOI through to contract award.
  • Experience in consultancy or professional services environments, preferably within the Middle East.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of aviation clients, procurement frameworks, and tendering procedures.
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management, coordination, and communications.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent writing and presentation capabilities.
