Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Welcomer in Dubai who will serve as the first point of contact for guests. This role is vital for creating a warm, personalized welcome and ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, enhancing our promise of exceptional hospitality in a dynamic multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests with professionalism and a genuine smile.
- Deliver tailored check-in and check-out services.
- Assist guests by answering inquiries and providing directions and hotel information.
- Offer welcome drinks or amenities based on guest status or preferences.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations teams to ensure a flawless guest experience.
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby, ready to assist or guide guests as needed.
- Promote hotel amenities, services, and current promotions actively.
- Address guest feedback promptly and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately.
- Record and communicate guest preferences and special requests effectively.
- Uphold a polished and professional appearance consistent with brand standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively suggest services that enhance their stay.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least one year experience in a Front Office or guest-facing position within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are advantageous.
- A warm, outgoing, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of Dubai and its tourist attractions.
- Basic computer literacy; experience with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a multicultural workplace.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Additional Information
Additional language skills are considered a plus.
