About the Role
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) supports the Australian Defence Force by providing aircraft maintenance, component servicing, technical assistance, mission-critical infrastructure, and training for advanced aviation platforms. The Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program at the Army Aviation Centre in Oakey, Queensland, is seeking a Warehouse Store Person to join a small, dedicated team responsible for managing aeronautical products and operational support for EC135 helicopters.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability and traceability of inventory through effective management.
- Initiate requisitions for spare parts and inventory items.
- Handle inbound goods, ensuring conformity to regulatory standards.
- Manage non-conforming product segregation and documentation within the quarantine store.
- Maintain precise records in the Inventory Management System (IMS), including asset tracking and quality documentation.
- Oversee shelf-life monitoring and management of inventory.
- Support strategic program objectives and deliver on planned commitments.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in supply support roles with knowledge of warehousing and distribution.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and inventory methodologies.
- Physical fitness adequate for performing manual tasks involved with warehousing.
- Forklift operator licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Australian citizenship required to satisfy Defence security conditions and eligibility for Baseline security clearance.
