Warehouse Operator

Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our central distribution team at our Head Office located in Ballybrit Business Park, Galway. The team manages goods from supplier receipt to restaurant delivery, focusing on order accuracy, safety, and efficiency within the freezer section.

Key Duties

• Assemble and pick items to prepare pallets for store deliveries.
• Verify incoming goods for correctness and report any shortages or damage.
• Unload shipments using manual handling, trolleys, or forklift equipment.
• Store goods safely in designated freezer areas.
• Manage documentation related to inventory and stock movements.
• Pack and inspect goods before dispatch to restaurants.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace, adhering to a 'clean as you go' policy.
• Immediately notify supervisors of any product damages or discrepancies.
• Consistently wear and maintain provided personal protective equipment (PPE).

Candidate Profile

• Strong team player with effective English communication skills.
• Dependable and safety-aware, physically capable of working in cold conditions.
• Possession of a forklift licence and relevant experience is strongly preferred.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, including Saturdays following Bank Holidays falling on Monday.
• The role is not suitable for student applicants.
• Must currently have lawful authorization to work in Ireland.
