Maintenance Person

About the Role

Join the team at Kinnegad Plaza as a full-time Maintenance Person. This position involves performing various maintenance duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations with shifts available in the evenings and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or other management personnel.
• Handle a variety of interior and exterior maintenance activities across the restaurant, including power washing, receiving goods, painting, minor DIY repairs, and groundskeeping.
• Conduct both proactive and reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and with minimal disruption to restaurant functions.
• Report directly to the Store Manager while on site.
• Order and manage supplies needed to complete maintenance jobs, ensuring cost control.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and encourage compliance among team members.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work effectively to optimize productivity during site visits.
• Take accountability for the quality and timeliness of your work, demonstrating pride and ownership in your craftsmanship.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least two years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
• Preferably hold formal qualifications in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, or other relevant crafts.
• Exhibit enthusiasm, dedication, and a readiness to acquire new skills in a dynamic setting.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes.
