About The Role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be pivotal in managing the receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, and movement of both raw materials and finished products. Your efforts will ensure the efficient, safe, and sustainable operation of our warehouse, supporting our goal to nourish lives every day.
Your Responsibilities
- Promote a zero-harm workplace by adhering to all safety protocols and best practices for forklift operation.
- Maintain stringent hygiene standards and environmental policies while supporting food safety programs.
- Handle the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials with precision and efficiency, including performing cycle counts and full stocktakes.
- Ensure data accuracy within SAP and TekDan systems, comply with FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles, and investigate any stock discrepancies.
- Provide support across inbound shipments, production services, and dispatch processes, including training and supervising temporary personnel when necessary.
- Identify operational challenges, participate in root cause analyses, and assist in implementing corrective measures.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse operations alongside forklift driving.
- Possession of a valid forklift license.
- Educational qualification of NCEA Level 1 or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Proficiency in computer literacy including SAP, WMS, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
- A strong dedication to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
