About the Role

Join Danone as the Utilities & Services Manager at our advanced nutrition manufacturing facility in Balclutha, New Zealand. This key leadership position entails spearheading the site's Services Line Trio, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical teams to boost performance, elevate team skills, and maintain sustainable operational excellence. You will oversee the safe, dependable, and efficient management of utilities infrastructure critical to manufacturing, supporting continuous improvement, safety, and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Utilities team to build a culture centered on high performance and safety.
  • Ensure critical utility systems operate reliably and efficiently to support manufacturing processes.
  • Implement thorough planning, monitoring, and continuous advancement of utility services.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Seek and execute opportunities to reduce waste, improve asset utilization, and optimize resource use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to improve manufacturing output and meet site goals.
  • Maintain adherence to food safety, environmental, and health and safety standards.
  • Support capital investments, maintenance, and operational enhancement programs.
  • Champion Danone's health and safety culture and uphold operational excellence standards.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
