Job description
Job Overview
We seek a skilled Technical Service Engineer responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in franchise studios across India. The role involves extensive travel to new franchise locations to handle complete technical setups and provide ongoing support to franchise partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform site visits to new franchise outlets and oversee all technical installation processes.
- Set up and configure detailing machinery including vacuums, extractors, steam machines, RO systems, pressure washers, and compressors.
- Arrange proper installation of lighting, plumbing (water lines and drainage), and electrical outlets complying with company norms.
- Conduct thorough machine testing and commissioning post-installation.
- Deliver foundational operation training to franchise personnel on installed machines.
- Diagnose issues and manage machine repairs directly at franchise locations.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contract visits.
- Replace defective components and propose necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Offer both on-site and remote technical assistance to franchisees as needed.
- Keep accurate service logs and submit detailed reports following each visit.
- Ensure all technical work adheres to established safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Proven practical experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or direct field servicing of machinery.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, load distribution, and safety measures.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-reliant with the capacity to manage on-field technical tasks independently.
Additional Information
- Frequent pan-India travel is essential to fulfill responsibilities regarding setup, maintenance, and technical support.
- Candidates must be prepared for sudden travel requests at short notice.
- Knowledge of automotive detailing or experience with commercial equipment is considered beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 15,000 to INR 25,000.
