Join G4S (part of Allied Universal) as a Warehouse Operative - Vaults located in Harwich, UK. This vital role forms an integral part of the Cash Solutions team, offering opportunities for career growth. The position is primarily based on a late shift with some night shifts and involves working within a highly secure and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receipt and dispatch processes, ensuring secure and accurate loading/unloading of CIT, ATM, and trunker vehicles.
• Conduct daily vault audits, investigate inconsistencies, and report findings to management.
• Control vehicle movement at loading bays and branches, maintaining operational standing orders at all times.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and record storage for all transactions and security logs.
• Collaborate with departments, branches, customers, and suppliers to resolve operational issues and uphold service quality.
• Ensure continuous adherence to security protocols safeguarding cash, valuables, personnel, and premises.
• Maintain 5S standards within the vault environment and handle emergency vault access using appropriate security methods.
• Utilize the computerized Viper system to track all cash and container movements, keeping a complete audit trail.
• Prepare consignments for dispatch and undertake occasional driving duties as required.
• Operate mechanical handling equipment properly and participate in ongoing training.
• Manage security keys within the secure area and monitor insurance compliance of branch and vehicle holdings.
• Adapt flexibly to working schedules, including bank holidays and shift changes, to meet operational needs.

Candidate Profile

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.
• Ability to rigorously follow and comply with detailed procedures and instructions.
• Good numerical aptitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with IT and computerized systems is advantageous.
• Comfortable operating within a secure, confined, and regulated environment.
• Willingness to work shifts including nights and weekends.
• Team-oriented with a focus on providing efficient, flexible, and security-conscious service.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay starts at £15.38, increasing to £15.68 after 6 months and £15.98 after 12 months, with additional night shift allowances where applicable. Security and Compliance
