Job description
Job Overview
An established bathroom and laundry renovation firm based in Canberra is seeking a skilled wall and floor tiler with hands-on experience. This role involves the ability to interpret blueprints, accurately measure surfaces, and meticulously prepare each project step. The ideal candidate has expertise in laying various types of tiles onto different substrates and is proficient in creating patterned designs. Experience with waterproof membrane applications is an added advantage.
Key Duties
- Install wall and floor tiles precisely according to project specifications.
- Apply grouting and siliconing with high levels of accuracy to deliver a polished finish.
- Work safely while ensuring maintenance of all tools and equipment used on site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must hold a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Completion of mandatory safety training including Silica, Asbestos awareness, and White Card.
- Proven reliability, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Additional Details
This is a full-time position based in Mitchell, ACT, offering 38 working hours per week. The salary package includes a base pay of $95,200 annually inclusive of superannuation benefits. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration.
