Role Summary

This role focuses on designing 3D models and engineering drawings for Gas Turbine Accessory skids. Responsibilities include producing General Arrangement drawings, Pipe Fabrication and Support PMI's, as well as compiling Bills of Materials. The candidate will also engage in technical discussions with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and associated drawings of Gas Turbine Accessory skids using SIEMENS NX software.
• Develop General Arrangement, Pipe Fabrication, and Support PMI drawings ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Materials for Gas Turbine Accessories.
• Collaborate with customers through technical discussions to meet project requirements.
• Apply welding knowledge, large assembly handling, and fastener selection expertise in designs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.).
• Proven experience utilizing SIEMENS NX on the Teamcenter platform, especially within Heavy Engineering or Turbomachinery sectors.
• Advanced skills in 3D design, assembly modeling, cloning, sketch-based modeling, and detailed associated drawings.
• Strong familiarity with pipe routing, General Arrangement drawings, support structures, and pipe fabrication documentation.
• Experience in model-based product definition development.
• Knowledge of welding processes, managing large assemblies, and selecting appropriate fasteners is critical.
