Role Overview
The Waiter position involves delivering confident, welcoming, and knowledgeable service, ensuring guests feel genuinely cared for throughout their dining experience. This front-of-house role is interactive and guest-facing, where you will assist customers with menu selections, work closely with team members, and contribute to creating memorable occasions, ranging from casual meals to special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and professional service on the restaurant floor.
- Guide customers expertly through menu, drink, and wine options.
- Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth service flow.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs as well as manage feedback thoughtfully.
- Uphold Hawksmoor's high standards in hospitality, presentation, and service.
Candidate Profile
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Confidence and ease in engaging with customers.
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a dynamic work environment.
- Dependable team player who thrives in collaborative settings.
- Previous experience in waiting is advantageous but not mandatory; thorough training is provided.
