Role Overview
As a Chef de Partie, you will take complete responsibility for your kitchen section, ensuring the delivery of top-quality dishes consistently. This role requires a balance of culinary expertise, organizational skill, and teamwork to maintain smooth kitchen operations and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your section confidently and consistently throughout service
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes adhering to Hawksmoor's standards
- Efficiently handle mise en place, service periods, and section close-down
- Uphold stringent food safety protocols while emphasizing sustainability and minimizing waste
- Guide and support Commis Chefs working in your section
- Collaborate closely with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth and effective service delivery
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie with fresh food preparation
- Strong technical culinary skills combined with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to remain calm and focused during peak service times
- Supportive team member committed to mentoring and developing junior staff
- Passionate about using high-quality ingredients and open-fire cooking techniques
- Eager to learn and progress within a professional kitchen environment
