Waffler Trainee

Role Overview

The Waffler Trainee will be responsible for overseeing daily store functions and ensuring customers have a pleasant, efficient, and friendly experience. This role blends duties of food preparation, customer interaction, billing, cleanliness, and managing supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare waffles and accompanying garnishes following standard recipes precisely.
• Accurately record customer orders, clearly explaining menu selections, pricing, and options.
• Ensure food preparation aligns with quality standards and recipes set by the Store Manager.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and process payments without error.
• Handle phone orders courteously, providing excellent customer service.
• Organize and prepare ingredients necessary for daily operations.
• Manage inventory levels of food and store materials, notifying the Store Manager of shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and store, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Engage in training to enhance knowledge of products, service techniques, and promotional activities.
• Assist the Store Manager and team in ensuring smooth functioning of outlet operations each day.
