VMC Setter

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled VMC Setter to operate and manage 3-axis CNC/VMC machines for precision machining activities. This role requires the candidate to efficiently handle tool changes, job setups, and perform accurate machining to meet engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC/VMC machines independently for precision milling tasks.
• Manage tool selection, offsets, and cutting parameters according to material and job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of machines and work area.
• Document job progress and machine operation details accurately.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die making.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC/VMC machines, specifically with 3-axis milling machines.
• Ability to read and work from GD&T engineering drawings.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in precision machining environments.
• Familiarity with control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
