Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our high-tech manufacturing site in Limerick, Ireland. The successful candidate will work within a class 10 cleanroom wafer fabrication facility, supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations by maintaining and troubleshooting critical equipment essential to integrated circuit production.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational support for semiconductor manufacturing processes through effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause failure analyses.
- Lead cross-functional teams employing data-driven, systematic methods to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including equipment availability, Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR), and Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF).
- Engage with diverse technologies such as electronics, high vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of Ordinary or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7 or 8).
- Between 6 and 10 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer, preferably in a highly regulated environment or semiconductor equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated competency in analytical troubleshooting methods, including Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, and 5-Why techniques, alongside first-time right repair abilities.
- Experienced in performing preventative maintenance and adhering to Standard Work procedures.
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies is advantageous.

- This role operates Monday to Friday.
- Some travel is required, estimated at 10% of working time.
