Role Overview

As a Vitality Service Representative at AIA NZ, you will be instrumental in assisting members, partners, and advisers to maximize their AIA Vitality experience. Operating within the Vitality Services team, you will provide personalized, responsive assistance across various communication channels, managing inquiries from start to finish. Your efforts will foster trust, enhance customer loyalty, and support member retention, all while contributing to AIA's mission to help people live healthier, longer, better lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service by efficiently and thoughtfully resolving inquiries from members, partners, and advisers.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through positive engagement and an excellent Vitality experience.
  • Own and manage enquiries through to resolution, collaborating with internal teams to deliver timely solutions.
  • Deliver accurate and clear communication via phone, email, and other service channels to instill customer confidence.
  • Spot opportunities to aid retention and stimulate business growth by understanding customer needs and referring leads appropriately.
  • Support service enhancement by contributing ideas that improve quality, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in customer service with a strong dedication to achieving favorable results for customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent listening and communication abilities to comprehend needs, disseminate clear information, and build rapport.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work while handling multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Good judgement and problem-solving competence to make informed decisions within guidelines and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Resilience and adaptability to sustain a positive attitude amidst shifting priorities and busy workloads.
  • Preferred: Experience in a contact center or financial services environment, or familiarity with AIA Vitality and its member benefits.
