Visual Merchandiser

Overview

As Australia’s largest lifestyle product retailer with nearly 200 stores nationwide, Domayne is part of a well-recognized retail group. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full Time Visual Merchandiser to join our Furniture and Bedding team located in Bundall, Queensland. This role is primarily store-based but may occasionally involve travel to other stores to support merchandising efforts.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative visual merchandising strategies under the guidance of the National Visual Merchandiser.
• Regularly monitor and assess the visual presentation of Domayne franchise stores ensuring alignment with brand standards.
• Advise franchise proprietors on the aesthetic appeal and look of their stores focusing on enhancing attractiveness and alignment with ongoing promotions and catalogues.
• Recommend innovative display solutions and creative merchandising tactics to elevate the customer experience.

Candidate Profile

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Genuine enthusiasm for interiors, home decor, and colour, combined with a natural creative flair.
• An understanding of visual merchandising principles and their application within retail settings is preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in visual merchandising will be viewed favorably.
• Capable of working in a manual labor environment.
• Flexibility to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Willingness to undertake some travel as required.
