About the Role
Harvey Norman, Australia's largest lifestyle product retailer with nearly 300 stores worldwide, is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join their team in Kings Park, Western Australia. Reporting to the State Visual Merchandiser, you will collaborate with existing Visual Merchandisers to craft and implement creative visual merchandising plans. Your responsibility will be to oversee and make suggestions for visual displays in Furniture and Bedding sections of franchisee stores, ensuring alignment with the brand's standards.
This role requires regular travel within the Perth metropolitan area and occasional monthly regional visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Support store teams in arranging furniture and bedding departments adhering to company guidelines.
- Take direction and collaborate with franchise store leadership.
- Apply and maintain visual merchandising standards in the Furniture and Bedding categories.
- Ensure product displays reflect seasonal guidelines established by the National Visual Merchandising Manager.
- Perform manual handling and lifting tasks for furniture and bedding stock to set up and maintain product presentation.
- Assist stores with promotional setups and catalogue displays.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for interiors, homewares, and color aesthetics coupled with creative flair.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable vehicle.
- Experience in retail and customer service with exposure to visual merchandising is essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet business requirements.
- Possess a relevant qualification in Visual Merchandising or Interior Design.
