Role Overview

As a Visual Merchandiser at C&A in Saarbrücken, you will design captivating and inspiring store layouts that enhance the shopping experience for our customers. Your creativity will be showcased through engaging window displays that encourage shoppers to explore and purchase. Additionally, you will mentor sales colleagues to ensure consistent application of Visual Merchandising (VM) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create attractive, sales-driven product presentations in line with VM guidelines while adding your own creative input.
• Design and decorate window mannequins in an inspiring fashion.
• Analyze sales figures and key performance indicators using the Merchandise Management System to refine product displays and collection placements.
• Implement centrally developed sales strategies and concepts within in-store presentations.
• Boost sales by showcasing merchandise creatively and appealingly.
• Train colleagues on proper application of VM standards.
• Proactively take initiative whenever opportunities to enhance presentation or sales arise.
• Offer styling advice and assistance to customers seeking particular items or fashion guidance.

Candidate Profile

You have a keen sense of style, a passion for fashion and trends, and draw inspiration from appealing designs, colors, and shapes.

• Commercial retail training coupled with substantial professional experience in visual merchandising, or alternatively, a qualification as a visual marketing designer or a related creative profession.
• Strong analytical skills to convert sales data into actionable merchandising solutions.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities, working closely with the Store Manager to prioritize and plan weekly tasks.
• Affinity with business processes including proficient handling of floor space metrics and inventory management systems.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate client desires into effective visual merchandising concepts.
