Job Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser at C&A in Essen, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inspiring store environment that visually attracts customers. You will design appealing window displays and mentor sales colleagues to help implement our Visual Merchandising (VM) standards effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an attractive and sales-enhancing presentation of merchandise by adhering to VM guidelines and contributing your own creative ideas.
- Decorate window mannequins in a captivating and inspiring manner.
- Analyze sales figures and key performance indicators using the Merchandise Management System to refine display strategies and collection presentation.
- Implement centrally developed sales strategies and concepts within the store's visual presentations.
- Boost sales results through innovative and appealing product arrangements.
- Coach colleagues to apply VM standards correctly.
- Seize profitable opportunities whenever possible.
- Assist customers by offering help with styling and product inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills
- You have a passion for fashion, a keen eye for style, and inspiration from colors and shapes.
- Completed retail commercial training with proven practical experience in visual merchandising or a qualification as a visual marketing designer or a related creative field.
- Strong analytical skills to convert sales data into actionable solutions.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities to collaborate closely with store management for weekly prioritization and task planning.
- Affinity for business processes and proficient handling of space metrics and inventory management systems.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into wearable visual merchandising concepts.
