Assistant Store Manager (m/w/d) - Aachen

Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will take a leadership role within your department, managing staff and ensuring smooth daily operations including employee scheduling and inventory management. You will actively participate in sales activities, serving as an inspiring role model in everyday retail tasks. Maintaining oversight is crucial as you ensure adherence to assigned tasks, priorities, and coordination. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and upholding the Visual Merchandising standards to provide customers with clear and attractive departmental displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead your team's employees, manage daily workflows independently such as creating duty rosters and overseeing merchandise handling.
• Engage directly in sales to motivate and lead by example during daily business operations.
• Ensure all agreements, assigned tasks, and priorities are met while maintaining comprehensive oversight.
• Take charge of applying and maintaining Visual Merchandising guidelines to keep your department visually appealing and customer-friendly.
• Support team members’ development by fostering their skills and providing constructive feedback, in collaboration with the Store Manager, who you will serve as the communication link.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training, preferably within fashion retail.
• Several years’ professional experience in textile retail.
• Initial exposure to leadership roles such as team leader, deputy team leader, department manager, or floor manager.
• Strong organizational abilities coupled with a focus on customer service.
• Confident presence with excellent communication and motivational skills to inspire others with fresh ideas.
