Visual Merchandiser (m/w/d)

Overview

As a Visual Merchandiser at C&A in Aachen, you will create an inspiring and visually captivating store environment that encourages customers to shop. You'll also train sales colleagues to support the implementation of our Visual Merchandising (VM) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an appealing and sales-enhancing presentation of merchandise while following VM guidelines and integrating your own creative ideas
• Decorate store windows and mannequins in an inspiring way
• Analyze sales figures and KPIs using the Merchandise Management System to optimize presentation and collection alignment
• Apply centrally developed sales strategies and concepts within store presentations
• Boost sales by creatively and attractively displaying products
• Coach colleagues on properly implementing VM standards
• Act proactively to capitalize on opportunities that increase profitability
• Assist customers who need items or styling advice

Qualifications and Skills

• Commercial training in retail with solid practical experience in visual merchandising or vocational training as a visual marketing designer or similar creative profession
• Strong analytical skills for translating sales data into actionable solutions
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities to collaborate closely with the Store Manager in setting priorities and weekly planning
• Affinity for business processes and proficient handling of space metrics and merchandise management systems
• Good understanding of customer needs and ability to translate these into effective visual merchandising concepts
