About the Role

Harvey Norman, Australia's leading retailer in lifestyle products with close to 200 stores nationwide, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Visual Merchandiser to join their Furniture and Bedding team at the Majura location in Australian Capital Territory. This role is primarily store-based but may involve occasional travel to support merchandising in various store locations. Reporting to the National Visual Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in crafting and implementing a creative visual merchandising strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and advise proprietors on brand standards, focusing on the overall appearance and appeal of Domayne franchises.
• Ensure displays align with ongoing promotions and current catalogs.
• Recommend and introduce innovative and attractive display ideas.
• Apply creative merchandising strategies to elevate brand presentation.

Candidate Profile

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passionate about interiors, homewares, color schemes, and possessing natural creative flair.
• Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and their application in retail is desirable.
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in visual merchandising are advantageous.
• Capable of performing manual labor tasks.
• Flexible working style, equally comfortable working independently or within a team.
• Willingness to undertake some travel as required.
