Visual Merchandiser

Position Objective

The chosen Visual Merchandiser will be tasked with creating and implementing compelling visual displays that not only enhance the customer's shopping experience but also boost sales and maintain brand consistency. This individual will significantly contribute to redesigning store layouts and ensuring the retail space remains attractive and in line with the brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement visual merchandising plans in-store that reflect seasonal themes, ongoing promotions, and brand concepts.
• Maintain alignment of all visual displays with the brand’s identity, ensuring they are regularly refreshed to showcase the latest products or stock changes.
• Work closely with store personnel and regional teams to visually support promotional and marketing initiatives.
• Perform regular inspections of the sales floor to ensure visual standards are met and identify areas for enhancement.
• Analyze the effectiveness of product placements to optimize layout decisions and maximize sales potential.
• Provide training and mentorship to retail staff regarding visual merchandising techniques and standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitive visual merchandising strategies, and innovative display technologies.

• Possess a strong sense of aesthetics with a sharp eye for design elements including color and styling.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary visual merchandising trends and industry best practices.
• Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team setting.
• Availability and flexibility to work during weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required.
• Physically capable to handle, move, and organize displays and fixtures.
