Job Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser at H&M, you will play a vital role at the core of a dynamic fashion environment. Your responsibilities include crafting an engaging shopping atmosphere that encourages customers to discover their personal style. This position entails providing guidance and support to the store team to deliver an inspiring customer experience that aligns with H&M's brand identity and values. Accountable for boosting sales through the implementation of the visual identity, you will adhere to all company protocols and uphold standards consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the store's visual identity according to H&M guidelines to enhance the customer-first experience.
- Train, coach, and develop store staff on visual merchandising and commercial insights.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and administrative procedures.
- Monitor store performance indicators, taking initiative to meet business objectives and financial targets.
- Organize, implement, and follow up on sales promotions and store campaigns.
Candidate Profile
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting, combining creativity with inclusivity and attention to detail.
- 1 to 2+ years of relevant transferable experience preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, perform repetitive motions, and move/display merchandise including mannequins and stock items over short distances.
- Competence in handling hand and power-operated tools such as irons and steamers to set up displays.
- Flexible availability, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and assist at other store locations.
Additional Details
This is a full-time onsite role based in Gangtok, Sikkim, directly reporting to the Store Manager.
