Role Overview
As a full-time, on-site Video Editor based in Bhubaneswar, you will transform raw footage into professionally edited pieces that represent client goals and brand identity. Your duties include cutting and arranging footage, syncing audio-visual elements, performing color grading, adding motion graphics and special effects, and optimizing videos for various social media channels. Collaboration with strategists, designers, and production teams is essential to conceptualize and polish each project.
Core Responsibilities
- Transforming raw video recordings into seamless, compelling final cuts.
- Applying color grading techniques and basic enhancements to maintain visual consistency.
- Creating motion graphics and visual overlays to enhance story delivery.
- Using leading editing and graphic software to assemble and refine content.
- Working closely with creative teams to interpret briefs and deliver according to schedule.
- Maintaining structured project files and meeting strict deadlines.
- Contributing creative ideas for better storytelling and engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in video production and editing for multiple content lengths.
- Hands-on experience with color correction and maintaining aesthetic consistency.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and addition of graphic elements.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- An excellent sense of pacing, composition, and sound integration.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, collaborate in a team, and adhere to deadlines.
- Formal education in Film, Media, Design, or related field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Experience with social media content editing and platform-specific best practices is advantageous.
