Role Overview
This position is a full-time, remote opportunity for a Video Editor who will collaborate closely with our creative and marketing departments. The incumbent will transform raw footage into polished, mobile-optimized video content suitable for social media, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day functions involve organizing footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and tailoring videos to multiple platforms and formats. In addition, the role requires participating in storyboarding sessions, upholding brand consistency across video materials, and ensuring timely project delivery. Staying updated with the latest trends and practices in both short-form and long-form video content is essential.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Competent in video production and editing tailored for digital and social media platforms.
- Expertise in AI-assisted editing techniques, understanding Higgsfield algorithms, and developing highly effective video advertisements.
- Ability to identify and incorporate current trends into video editing.
- Proficient in motion graphics and graphic design to develop engaging titles, lower thirds, and other visual components.
- Experience with leading editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
- Capability to function independently in a remote setup, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines reliably.
- Strong eye for detail, exceptional visual storytelling skills, and an in-depth understanding of social media video standards and best practices.
- Relevant background in digital marketing, content creation, or agency work is advantageous.
- A portfolio demonstrating prior experience in video editing and motion graphics is mandatory; formal education in film, media, or related disciplines is considered beneficial.
