About the Role

We are seeking a creative Video Editor with a strong artistic vision capable of transforming a concept or story into an engaging visual narrative. This role requires more than just technical editing skills; it demands an understanding of Vox-style storytelling to craft compelling content.

Responsibilities and Skills

• Interpret narratives and ideas to develop storyboards and visual sequences.
• Apply deep knowledge of editing techniques including pacing, transitions, cuts, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
• Create or modify basic visuals, graphics, and assets for videos using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Innovate and experiment with storytelling methods to produce fresh and engaging content.
• Work independently to develop visual stories from briefs or brand narratives rather than merely executing edits.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Film & Video Editing, Visual Communication, Animation, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Applied Arts or related disciplines.
• Experience ranging from freshers to those with up to 3 years of relevant work, with emphasis on a strong creative portfolio.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to understand and translate narratives effectively.
• Sound knowledge of cinematic techniques and sound design principles to elevate the impact of video stories.
• An artistic eye for detail, composition, and visual aesthetics.
