About Base360.ai and The Role
Base360.ai specializes in developing an AI-driven platform designed to assist short-term rental companies in managing and scaling their operations effortlessly. Originating from the technology behind The Flex, this platform offers property managers an AI autopilot experience.
We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to vividly bring our products, founder stories, and brand vision to life through engaging video content.
Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage, product captures, and creative ideas into captivating launch films, social media clips, and advertisements that attract and retain viewer attention.
- Edit product launch materials and brand films that weave storytelling with product demonstrations and visually compelling direction.
- Create content led by founders, including interviews, talking-head segments, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Produce concise and engaging short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, emphasizing dynamic hooks and calculated pacing.
- Develop paid advertisement creatives featuring multiple variations in openings, messaging, and calls to action.
- Bring products to life through screen recordings, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and clear visual explanations.
- Manage post-production tasks encompassing footage selection, editing, color grading, sound design, music integration, captioning, and final exporting.
- Utilize AI creative tools to enhance visual assets, generate voiceovers, and expedite production without sacrificing quality.
- Ensure visual cohesion across various video formats and distribution channels.
- Enhance video content using performance metrics like retention rates, watch times, and conversion data to guide future editing decisions.
Candidate Profile
- Possess an impressive portfolio showcasing storytelling capabilities, editing finesse, and strong visual aesthetics.
- Proficient with editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, accompanied by motion design skills in After Effects or similar tools.
- Expertise in creating attention-grabbing hooks within the first three seconds of a video and able to sustain viewer interest.
- Adept at condensing extensive recordings into clear, compelling narratives.
- Understanding of how sound elements—music, silence, sound effects—and pacing influence emotional impact.
- Experience with AI tools including Runway, Kling, Sora, and ElevenLabs integrated into creative workflows.
- Ability to operate independently, meet deadlines reliably, and effectively incorporate direct feedback.
- Balance efficiency with quality, paying close attention to the nuances that elevate content polish.
Additional experience in SaaS product video creation, founder-centric content, documentary style storytelling, or paid social media advertising is considered advantageous.
Why Join Base360.ai?
- Contribute significantly to defining the visual video identity of a rapidly growing company from an early stage.
- Collaborate directly with the founder on product launches, storytelling projects, and public-facing communications.
- Enjoy creative autonomy with opportunities to see your work showcased across the company’s brand and marketing platforms.
- Potential to advance into creative leadership roles, including building and leading a video production team.
- Receive competitive compensation along with performance-related incentives.
- Work remotely within a driven and entrepreneurial environment.
Our Workplace Philosophy
At Base360.ai, we emphasize ownership, transparent communication, high standards, and a culture of continuous learning. Ideal candidates are proactive, experimental, and eager to elevate their craft.
Who Should Not Apply
- Individuals who prefer detailed instructions over owning their creative projects.

- Candidates prioritizing video aesthetics over storytelling impact and result delivery.
- Applicants unwilling to learn new tools or adapt their creative processes.
