About the Role

Almond Books seeks a creative and self-driven Video Creator and Editor based in Mumbai to craft captivating video content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms. The primary goal is to highlight our books and engage both students and teachers effectively.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit videos tailored for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.
• Develop compelling video content that spotlights our educational books and brand identity.
• Manage all aspects of video editing, including captions, thumbnail creation, and publishing across various social media channels.
• Leverage AI-based tools to enhance creativity, streamline video production, and optimize editing workflows.
• Remain informed about current content trends and experiment with innovative video ideas.
• Monitor video engagement metrics and iterate to boost content effectiveness.

Skill and Experience Requirements

• Proficiency in video shooting and editing techniques.
• Experience operating video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram platforms and their nuances.
• Creative mindset with a proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Strong storytelling capability, excellent visual aesthetics, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to independently carry an idea from inception through to published video without close supervision.
• Fresh graduates with a robust portfolio demonstrating practical skills and creativity are encouraged to apply; formal qualifications are less critical.
