Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Verification & Validation Engineer with a strong background in the Avionics and Aerospace sectors. Candidates must demonstrate solid hands-on expertise in avionics software development, testing, verification, or systems engineering, combined with an understanding of cutting-edge AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience working within avionics or aerospace domains.
- Involvement with Large Language Models and generative AI technologies to enhance application capabilities.
- Solid comprehension of AI/ML principles and the use of LLM-based applications.
- Proficiency in Python programming or similar languages.
- Familiarity with advanced AI techniques such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and usage of LLM APIs.
- Understanding of avionics software life cycle, including software development, verification, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of aviation safety and aerospace quality standards like DO-178B, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, or ARP4761 is advantageous.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving aptitude, and effective communication skills.
