Verification Engineer - GPU / Semiconductor

Overview

Our client, a leading multinational semiconductor company advancing wireless technology, is seeking Design Verification Engineers to join their team in Cork, Ireland. The primary focus will be on graphical functional and performance verification of GPU products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement tests aimed at performance verification of GPU and GPGPU designs.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance and architectural bottlenecks in general-purpose GPU designs.
• Innovate and deploy verification methods related to performance and emulation.
• Collaborate in hardware-software co-verification processes, including simulation, emulation, and benchmarking.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Robust background in ASIC design and verification methodologies.
• Prior experience with test planning, scripting, simulation, and solving verification challenges.
• Proficient in SystemVerilog, UVM, Verilog, as well as C and C++ programming languages.
• Knowledge of RTL design is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with simulation acceleration techniques and hardware emulation tools.
