Role Overview
The Vendor Marketing Manager is a pivotal senior marketing position tasked with crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for a portfolio of key technology vendors. This role focuses on stimulating demand, growing pipelines, and enhancing revenue through targeted, data-backed campaigns aligned with vendor goals and Ingram Micro's business agenda. Collaborating closely with Vendor Business Managers, sales, vendors, and partners, you will discover growth opportunities and deliver impactful marketing results that boost Ingram Micro’s prominence and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement quarterly marketing strategies consistent with vendor and company objectives.
- Design go-to-market plans to increase revenue and market share.
- Spot and capitalize on strategic growth prospects within vendor portfolios.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication of plans, ensuring ongoing review and alignment.
- Coordinate local efforts with broader regional and global marketing initiatives when relevant.
- Serve as a trusted marketing advisor, offering strategic guidance and market intelligence.
- Develop and deliver multi-channel demand generation campaigns encompassing digital, email, social, webinars, events, and partner outlets promoting the Ingram Micro Xvantage platform.
- Manage collaboration among internal teams including creative, data, and digital units for timely and quality campaign delivery.
- Share marketing plans, outcomes, and recommendations during quarterly business reviews and vendor discussions.
- Leverage Power BI, Google Analytics, and internal tools to segment audiences and steer campaign strategy.
- Evaluate customer and product data to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance for maximum engagement, leads, and ROI.
- Report on campaign success, pipeline impact, and marketing investments, and suggest improvements for future initiatives.
- Oversee marketing budgets and Market Development Funds (MDF), ensuring compliance with business goals and accurate financial tracking and forecasting.
- Complete all claim documentation and reporting punctually and accurately.
- Monitor budget usage and propose investment tactics to enhance results.
- Coordinate with Vendor Business Managers and sales teams to align marketing activities with strategic priorities and revenue goals.
- Communicate clearly campaign objectives, timelines, and results to all stakeholders.
- Support sales through enabling materials, messaging, and lead generation efforts.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with vendor marketing teams, sales, and partner organizations.
- Stay well-informed on vendor portfolios, partner tiers, programs, and priorities to align marketing with channel growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing within the ICT sector.
- Preferably skilled in vendor, reseller, or channel environments.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, analytics platforms, and creative software.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities for stakeholder and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- High commercial awareness and business insight.
