Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, your mission is to drive the growth and expansion of the Veeam portfolio within Ingram Micro. Collaborating with the vendor and the Infrastructure team, you will generate new channel partners like Resellers and Managed Service Providers, cultivating further growth avenues within these accounts. Delivering outstanding customer service and quality solutions, while working closely with sales and technical teams, will be central to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate channel expansion by targeting the Unmanaged Reseller segment of Veeam, growing revenue through acquiring, managing, and sustaining customers.
- Consistently provide high-quality customer engagement and industry-focused solutions.
- Nationally manage and nurture sales opportunities to achieve growth targets.
- Build and strengthen relationships bridging vendors and resellers to ensure Ingram Micro is the preferred distributor.
- Engage in proactive market development by aligning with customer business and technology goals.
Requirements
- Preferably experienced in IT sales and distribution sectors.
- Proven capability to cultivate strong relationships with existing resellers and onboard new customers to foster growth.
- Knowledge of the enterprise software market is advantageous.
- Familiarity with traditional infrastructure, virtualization, backup, automation, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong persuasion skills in both written and oral formats.
- Capacity to develop and execute business and development strategies.
- Self-driven with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
