Vehicle Technician (Vans)

About the Role

Our client, a leading UK vehicle hire and fleet management company, seeks skilled Vehicle Technicians to join their expanding team across multiple sites nationwide. This position primarily involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans to ensure fleet safety and reliability for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Utilize the latest diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT tests and conduct general inspections.
• Ensure all tasks meet high standards following manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete job cards, service documentation, and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Work efficiently to achieve productivity and workshop goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace.

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or LCV Technician.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience with vans or commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
