Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician III role involves delivering expert technical maintenance support at the Integer facility located in New Ross, Ireland. The technician will uphold Integer's standards through diligent electrical and mechanical maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance on all machinery and facility fixtures to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and accurately on the production floor to ensure continuous operations.
• Analyze equipment performance data, apply problem-solving techniques, and recommend improvements or countermeasures to enhance reliability.
• Implement and adopt new maintenance methods to boost machine availability.
• Follow and contribute to the standardization of work procedures and suggest enhancements where appropriate.
• Make autonomous maintenance decisions aligning with department priorities while consulting supervisors when necessary.
• Support and train fellow maintenance staff to build team capability.
• Adhere strictly to planned maintenance schedules for all production equipment and maintain precise documentation.
• Maintain clean and hygienic working environments including tool areas and maintenance stations.
• Engage in toolroom fitting and manufacturing tasks as necessary.
• Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing initiatives, lending technical expertise to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Automation, and Quality teams during equipment commissioning, problem analysis, and production support.
• Assist operators with machine setups and uphold safety and conduct standards consistent with Integer's policies.
• Contribute to fostering positive morale across the plant and uphold the company’s behavioral expectations.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned within the scope of the role.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within and beyond the maintenance team while representing Integer positively.
• Comprehensive familiarity with product details and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient technical abilities relevant to mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Understanding of manufacturing systems including inventory management, quality control, and production planning.
• Willingness to participate in cross-skilling across maintenance disciplines.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Completion of Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary education.
• Time-served craftsman in either mechanical or electrical disciplines, or a third-level technical qualification coupled with at least three years of relevant maintenance experience.
