About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a leading main dealer group based in Stoke on Trent. This opportunity is ideal for professionals eager to work with a reputable company recognized as one of the best in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair faults related to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, including warranty-approved work adhering to brand guidelines.
- Conduct MOT testing duties for qualified technicians holding the relevant license.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a full UK driving license.
- Hold ideally NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 qualifications or an equivalent certification; however, candidates with Level 2 qualifications and main dealership experience will also be considered.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience working in a main dealership environment.
- An MOT license is advantageous but not a compulsory requirement.
Working Hours and Location
Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, including Saturday mornings on a rotating basis. The position is based onsite in the Greater Stoke-on-Trent area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary up to 42,000 basic, with additional uncapped bonuses and overtime payments commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- A 1,500 salary enhancement for MOT license holders.
